Order after the cut-off, or at a weekend or on a bank holiday, and it is printed on the next working day and reaches you the working day after.
Your design is UV-printed straight onto 3 mm birch plywood, single sided, so the pale grain shows through lighter colours and any white in the artwork stays as bare wood. Choose A5, A4, A3, A2 or a custom size, and order from one sign to ten. Upload a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed: plywood is an upload-only product with no online designer, so the file needs to be finished before the cut-off.

Your sign is printed direct onto the birch plywood on our London flatbed the same afternoon, so the grain shows through, then cut to its finished size on the flatbed cutter.

A tracked courier delivers the next working day anywhere on the UK mainland. Weekends and bank holidays are skipped, and the dates above already account for that.

The next-day rule
Next-day delivery needs your order in, and your artwork approved, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri for delivery the next working day. Production is scheduled from your approval, not from the time you order, so orders placed or artwork approved after that, or at weekends and bank holidays, are dispatched on the next working day and arrive the working day after. Every order gets a free artwork proof within the hour; changes to the artwork itself are a priced service per file, back within the hour too.

Next-day plywood signs FAQs
Will the wood grain show through my design?
Yes, and that is usually the reason people choose plywood. We print onto the raw birch rather than a white base, so pastels, creams and whites pick up the timber beneath and anything left white in the file prints as untouched wood. Solid dark inks sit cleanly on top. If you need a pure white area, a Foamex or Eco Display Board sign is the better choice.
Which sizes can be printed and delivered for the next working day?
A5, A4, A3 and A2 on 3 mm birch plywood, or a custom size priced live in the configurator. A2 is the size most people choose for a wedding welcome board on an easel; A4 and A3 suit table plans, price boards and bar menus; A5 works for a house name or a small shelf sign.
Can the sign stand outside on the day?
Treat plywood as an indoor board. A day outside under cover, on a porch or beneath a marquee, is fine, because the UV-cured print is scratch- and water-resistant, but the wood itself is not made for a season of rain. If the sign lives outdoors permanently, choose a weatherproof board such as Dibond or Foamex instead.
How many plywood signs can I order for next-day delivery?
From one sign to ten of the same design on a single line; add another line to the basket for a second design, and everything ships together. There is no fixed cap tied to the delivery speed, but a large custom order is worth a quick message before you pay so we can confirm the day.
What does next-day delivery of a plywood sign cost?
Nothing extra for the sign itself: a 3 mm birch panel is the same price whichever day it prints, and only the chosen delivery speed carries its own charge at checkout. Ordering ahead of a wedding or opening date rather than against a tight deadline? Standard delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £25 (£2.95 below that) and takes 3-5 working days from ordering.
I only have a rough sketch of the wording. What do I need to send to hit the cut-off?
Plywood is upload-only, so we print exactly what is in your PDF rather than laying it out for you. Download the artwork template from the product page, drop your wording, date and logo into it, and export a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed before 2.30pm. A person checks every file before it prints, but turning a sketch into finished artwork stays your side of the job.
