Wedding Printing FAQs

Is your foiling real foil?

Yes — metallic gold or silver foil, applied die-free on our Foliant press. Because there are no dies or plates to make, foiling is affordable even on a run of ten, and we can foil each card individually — which is how we offer guest names foiled one by one on invitations, escort cards and place cards. It is digital foil rather than letterpress hot-foil stamping, and it photographs and catches the light just as beautifully.

Which papers do you print wedding stationery on?

Heavyweight stocks chosen for weddings: Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite Eggshell, Gmund Bauhaus, GF Smith Accent Antique silk and smooth uncoated boards from 270 to 400gsm. If you would like to feel them first, order the wedding sample pack — we credit the cost back against your stationery order.

Can everything match — invitations through to the table plan?

That is the point of the page. Every piece here prints in-house on the same presses from the same artwork family, so your save the dates, invitations, order of service, menus, place cards and table plan can share papers, colours and type exactly. Order product by product, or send one quote request and we will price the whole suite as a single job.

How do acrylic invitations and signs work?

We UV-print white ink and full colour directly onto clear 3mm cast acrylic in-house, so lettering appears to float on the panel. Because each piece is set and printed individually, acrylic is quoted personally — send your wording, sizes and quantities through the quote form and we will price it the same working day.

We are down to the wire — how fast can you print?

Faster than a stationery studio. Most pieces dispatch within days, and for on-the-day items — welcome signs, table plans, place cards, menus — order, with your artwork approved, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and a courier delivers the same day across London. A seating plan that changed the night before does not have to be a crisis.
