Concertina leaflets ordered and approved by 2.30pm Mon–Fri are printed and pleated the same day and delivered the next working day anywhere on the UK mainland. That suits the gallery whose exhibition opens on Thursday, the walking tour that starts at the weekend and the brand team who need the timeline in the sales kit before Monday's meeting. The dates on this page are calculated on your clock, so the arrival day shown already skips weekends and bank holidays.
The accordion format prints full colour, single or double sided, on silk or uncoated paper: 100gsm and 120gsm uncoated for pocket maps, 170gsm silk for a guide, 300gsm for a piece meant to stand on a shelf. Choose an A3, A4, A5 or A6 sheet or a custom size, from 50 up to 10,000 copies with custom quantities available. Concertinas are upload-only: send a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed at the flat size, panels set out in reading order.

The next-day rule
Next-day delivery needs your order in, and your artwork approved, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri for delivery the next working day. Production is scheduled from your approval, not from the time you order, so orders placed or artwork approved after that, or at weekends and bank holidays, are dispatched on the next working day and arrive the working day after. Every order gets a free print preview within the hour; changes to the artwork itself are a priced service per file, back within the hour too.
Missed the 2.30pm cutoff? In London, choose the Priority courier at checkout: printed first thing on the next working day and delivered by tracked courier that day (tomorrow when you order Monday to Thursday), priced like same-day.
What counts
- Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding England and Wales bank holidays; the print room is in London.
- Next-day delivery covers the UK mainland; Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland rates and timings are shown at checkout.
- Order and approve your artwork by the cut-off: a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed. We book production from your approval, not your payment.
- Not in a hurry? Standard delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £50 and takes 3-5 working days.
Next-day concertina fold flyers & leaflets FAQs
How should I set up concertina artwork so it folds correctly?
Build the file at the flat sheet size with 3 mm bleed and divide it into equal panels, because a concertina pleats back and forth rather than tucking inward. Keep text and logos about 5 mm clear of every fold line, and check the strip works both ways: panel by panel for someone flicking through, and as one continuous image when it is opened flat.
Which paper folds best for a concertina?
Lighter papers pleat most readily, which is why 100gsm to 170gsm suits maps and guides with many panels. Heavier stocks such as 250gsm and 300gsm are creased on the machine before folding so the pleats stay crisp, and they give a sturdier piece for a shelf or reception desk. Avoid heavy solid colour running across a crease, whatever the weight.
Can I design a concertina leaflet in the online designer?
No. Concertina leaflets are an upload-artwork product, so the designer does not offer them. Supply a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed at the flat size and approve it by 2.30pm and it goes straight to press.
Do next-day concertina leaflets arrive already folded?
Yes. Folding is done in-house on the machine straight after printing, and the run is boxed folded and ready to hand out. You do not need to allow time for finishing on your side, which is the point of ordering the pleated piece rather than flat sheets.
What if I order concertinas after the cut-off or on a Saturday?
After 2.30pm, or at a weekend or on a bank holiday, the order is printed and pleated on the next working day and delivered the working day after that. In London there is one faster route: the Priority courier at checkout puts the job first in the queue on the next working day and sends a courier the same day, priced at checkout like the same-day courier.
How much is next-day delivery on concertina leaflets?
Next-day delivery is from £9.95 no VAT to UK mainland addresses. The leaflet price is the standard online price, and the next-day delivery speed is priced at checkout for your address. Standard delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £50 (£5.99 below that) and arrives within 3-5 working days of ordering, so it is worth checking whether the opening or the tour actually needs tomorrow.
Can I use artwork I made with ChatGPT, Canva or another AI tool?
Yes. Every file is checked before it prints, whatever made it. AI images are often made at screen size, so on a larger print they can come out soft: if yours would, we show you which image and you choose to print it as it is, upload a sharper file, or send us the high-resolution images and our studio updates the artwork for you. You can run the same check before you order with our free file check.
