Next-Day Mini Photo Cut-Outs
Mini photo cut-outs are what a hen party organiser orders the week of the do, when the table plan is finished and the tables suddenly look bare. Order by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and the set is printed the same afternoon and delivered the next working day to any UK mainland address. This page shows the actual arrival day on your clock, skipping weekends and bank holidays, so you can check it against the date of the party before you pay.
Every piece is die-cut to the outline of the person in your photograph at 60 × 80 mm, or a custom size if the cake or the favour bags need something different. They print single or double sided on rigid card: 350gsm silk, 400gsm silk in two makes, or 350gsm uncoated. Runs go from 10 to 250 pieces. Upload your photo as a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed; the product price is unchanged, and only the delivery speed is priced at checkout.

The next-day rule
Next-day delivery needs your order in, and your artwork approved, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri for delivery the next working day. Production is scheduled from your approval, not from the time you order, so orders placed or artwork approved after that, or at weekends and bank holidays, are dispatched on the next working day and arrive the working day after. Every order gets a free artwork proof within the hour; changes to the artwork itself are a priced service per file, back within the hour too.
Missed the 2.30pm cutoff but still need it on the next working day (that is tomorrow when you order Monday to Thursday)? Choose Tomorrow Delivery at checkout in London: priority production first thing on the next working day and a tracked courier the same day, priced like same-day.
What counts
- Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding England and Wales bank holidays; the print room is in London.
- Next-day delivery covers the UK mainland; Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland rates and timings are shown at checkout.
- Print-ready artwork (PDF, 3 mm bleed) or a finished online design must be with us by the cut-off, because production starts as soon as you pay.
- Not in a hurry? Standard delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £25 and takes 3-5 working days.
Next-day mini photo cut-outs FAQs
How big is a mini photo cut-out?
The standard cut is 60 × 80 mm, roughly the size of a playing card, which scatters well down a dinner table and slots into a place setting. Choose Custom in the configurator if you want them larger for a cake topper or smaller for a favour bag; the same next-day timing applies as long as the order is in by 2.30pm.
Which card is a mini cut-out printed on, and can it be double sided?
Four stocks are on the list: 350gsm silk, 400gsm silk, 400gsm silk UPM and 350gsm uncoated, with a Custom option if you have a stock in mind. Silk gives the crispest photo reproduction, uncoated takes the shine off under candlelight. Double sided is available, so a cut-out propped on a table can carry the face on both sides and read from either seat.
How many can I order for next-day delivery?
Runs are sold in set sizes from 10 up to 250: 10, 20, 30, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200 and 250. Ten is the minimum. A table scatter for a hen do usually works out at five to ten per table, so pick the tier above your headcount and keep a few spare for the cake and the favours. Each tier is priced at the same rate whether it goes next day or standard.
What photo should I send for mini cut-outs?
One where the whole person is in frame, in focus, and stands clear of the background, because at 60 × 80 mm a soft edge shows. Crop nothing off the head or feet. This is an upload product rather than a design-online one, so save the image into a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed at the cut size and upload it with the order before 2.30pm; the contour cutter follows the outline of what you send.
My table plan only needs ten. Is a small hen-do order still worth doing next day?
Yes, a run of ten moves through next day exactly the way 250 does; there's no higher rate or extra wait for the smallest tier. You pay for the set at its quantity price, then the courier is worked out separately at checkout from the address you're sending to, so a compact hen-party order isn't penalised for being small. If the do is a week or two off, standard delivery reaches the same UK mainland addresses free on orders over £25, in 3-5 working days.
I am ordering on a Friday afternoon after 2.30pm. When do the cut-outs arrive?
Tuesday, in the usual week. An order placed after 2.30pm is printed on the next working day, which after a Friday afternoon is Monday, and it is delivered the working day after that. If the Monday is a bank holiday the print day moves to Tuesday and delivery to Wednesday. The dates shown at the top of this page already take that into account, so trust them over a mental calculation.
