A life-size cut-out is the print people book late: the surprise for a fortieth, the absent colleague at a leaving do, the founder at a launch. Order by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and it is printed the same afternoon and delivered the next working day anywhere on the UK mainland. The dates at the top of this page are worked out on your clock, so a Friday order shows Monday, and a bank holiday is skipped automatically.
Each figure prints full colour on one side of 10 mm Xanita board and is cut to the outline of the person in your photo. Choose the height that matches them, from 5 ft to 6 ft 4 in one-inch steps, and order one or up to ten in the configurator, with a custom quantity for bigger sets. Cut-outs are upload-only: send a print-ready PDF and the price is the same as any other day, with the delivery speed priced at checkout.

The next-day rule
Next-day delivery needs your order in, and your artwork approved, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri for delivery the next working day. Production is scheduled from your approval, not from the time you order, so orders placed or artwork approved after that, or at weekends and bank holidays, are dispatched on the next working day and arrive the working day after. Every order gets a free artwork proof within the hour; changes to the artwork itself are a priced service per file, back within the hour too.

Which height should I choose for a life-size cut-out?
Pick the real height of the person in the photo. The configurator runs from 5 ft to 6 ft 4 in one-inch steps, so a 5 ft 9 guest of honour gets a 5 ft 9 cut-out and the joke lands when people stand next to it. If the photo is a mascot or a character rather than a person, choose the height you want it to be in the room; the file is scaled to that.
What is a next-day cut-out made of?
It is printed in full colour on one side of 10 mm Xanita board, cut from a 1220 × 2440 mm sheet, which is why the figure can be a full 6 ft 4 in one piece. The board is printed single sided, so the back is plain. Sizes and material on a next-day order are exactly the ones listed on this page; nothing is swapped to hit the deadline.
What file do I upload for a life-size cut-out?
The best full-length photo you have: sharp, evenly lit, feet in frame and the person standing clear of clutter so we can cut cleanly along their outline. Because it is enlarged to six feet, a phone snap taken at full resolution works, a screenshot or a heavily cropped image does not. Supply it as a PDF at the finished height with 3 mm bleed by 2.30pm; cut-outs cannot be built in the online designer.
Can I order more than one cut-out for next-day delivery?
Yes. One to ten is a standard selection in the configurator, and the custom quantity option covers a bigger set, for instance a whole team for a conference stage. Every figure in the order can be a different person and a different height; add each as its own line so the file and the size stay together.
The party is on Saturday. When is the latest I can order?
By 2.30pm on the Friday, and it arrives on the Monday, so for a Saturday party you want it printed on the Thursday and delivered on the Friday. Next-day means the next working day: nothing is delivered at the weekend or on a bank holiday, and an order placed after 2.30pm is printed the following working day and arrives the working day after that.
I'm only ordering one figure. Does that cost extra to send next day?
No, a single life-size cut-out is priced no differently whether it's the only figure in the order or one of a matching set; the courier is worked out separately at checkout from the delivery address, so you always see the full total before paying. If the surprise can wait, standard delivery covers the same UK mainland addresses free on orders over £25, and takes 3-5 working days.
