Custom game cards printed in-house on 300 to 400gsm silk or Invercote board, every card a different face with one shared back, cut with rounded corners, collated into decks and banded, priced per deck from a single prototype to a thousand. Choose poker size (63.5 x 88.9 mm, the standard game card), bridge (57 x 89 mm), tarot (70 x 120 mm) for character and event cards, or A7 and A6 for question and quiz decks, then tell us how many cards make a deck. Supply one card per page and the deck comes back collated in your page order, so a prototype shuffles the way you designed it. Gloss or matt lamination gives a game that is played every night a longer life.
- • Available sizes: A7, A6, Bridge Cards 57mm x 89mm, Playing Cards 63.5mm x 88.9mm, Tarot Cards 70mm x 120mm, Custom

Delivered within 3-5 working days of ordering, once your free print preview is approved. That window is the whole job, not just the van: we print, finish and dispatch your order and the tracked carrier delivers it. The clock starts when you approve your free print preview, so approving promptly is the fastest thing you can do.
Choose your delivery speed at checkout. Every parcel is tracked:
- • Standard delivery: 3-5 working days, free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £50, £5.99 below that
- • Next-day delivery: next working day when you order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, priced at checkout
- • Next-day by 1pm or by 10.30am: next working day, with the courier aiming for the time chosen (a target, not a guarantee), when you order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, priced at checkout
- • Saturday delivery: Saturday, for orders approved by 2.30pm on Friday, priced at checkout
- • Same-day delivery in London: order up to 500 units with print-ready artwork and approve it by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, and a tracked courier delivers the same day. Priced at checkout, including same-day production.
Northern Ireland, the Highlands & Islands, the Isle of Wight, offshore and international addresses are priced live at checkout, as are unusually heavy orders: over 15kg is £14.95 whatever the order value. Flat prints bigger than A4, such as A3 posters or 25 cm stickers, travel in a larger, board-backed pack: paid delivery services carry a packing charge for it, shown at checkout, and free standard delivery stays free. Very large pieces (any side over 120 cm, such as A0 boards) go by courier rather than post, at the courier price shown at checkout for each service. Pieces over 150 cm, or over 100 cm both ways, are beyond the parcel couriers: they travel with a specialist courier at the rate shown at checkout, or we split the artwork into smaller panels for you free of charge. See live delivery prices and times.
Every order is covered by the Presswift Guarantee: printed to the print preview you approve and the specification you choose, or put right. If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved print preview, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. We reprint the affected copies to the same specification or, where a reprint is not practical, refund them; approved refunds reach your original payment method within 7-10 working days. Read the Presswift Guarantee.
Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the print preview you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free print preview is for: check the colours, wording and layout on the print preview and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
What size are standard game cards?
Most card games and board game decks use the poker size, 63.5 x 88.9 mm, which is the default here and the size standard card sleeves fit. Bridge size, 57 x 89 mm, is the narrower option for resource and action cards held in a big hand. Tarot size, 70 x 120 mm, suits character, event and location cards with an illustration. A7 and A6 suit question and quiz decks.
Will the deck come in my order?
Yes. Supply one card per page in the order you want the deck collated and we collate it in that order and band it. A deck with several copies of the same card is fine: repeat the page, or tell us the counts in the order notes.
Can I order a single prototype?
Yes. One deck is the smallest order, which is what a prototype needs. From five decks the price per deck falls, and again at 10, 25, 50, 100 and the volume tiers for a small print run.
Which stock plays best?
300gsm silk is the weight of a standard playing card and shuffles cleanly, so it is the default. 350gsm silk is stiffer with more snap; 400gsm silk is the rigid choice for a premium deck. Add gloss lamination for a slick, long-wearing surface or matt lamination for a soft, fingerprint-free one.
How should I supply the artwork?
A print-ready PDF with one card per page, 3 mm bleed, text and symbols at least 3 mm inside the cut, and the shared back as the last page or a separate single-page PDF. If your layout program exports whole sheets of cards, send the individual cards instead: we impose them for the press ourselves. A free print preview comes back before printing.
Do you print game boxes, boards or tokens?
Not on this page. Decks come collated and banded. For a tuck box, a game board, punch-out tokens or a rules booklet to go with the deck, ask for a quote with your files and we will price the set together.
How much do Game Cards cost?
Game Cards start from £16.19 excluding VAT. The price updates live on this page as you choose your size, paper stock and quantity, and the price per unit falls at higher quantities.
What sizes do Game Cards come in?
Game Cards are available in 5 sizes: A7, A6, Bridge Cards 57mm x 89mm, Playing Cards 63.5mm x 88.9mm and Tarot Cards 70mm x 120mm. You can also enter a custom size in millimetres and see the price update instantly.
Which paper stocks can I choose for Game Cards?
You can print Game Cards on 300gsm Silk, 350gsm Silk, 400gsm Silk and Invercote 300gsm. Every stock is listed with its weight so you can balance feel and budget, and the page reprices as you switch.
Can I get Game Cards delivered the same day?
Yes, on orders of up to 500 items with print-ready artwork. Order Game Cards, and approve your artwork, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and a tracked courier delivers them the same day in London. Elsewhere in the UK, standard tracked delivery takes 3-5 working days, with express and next-day options at checkout (next-day: order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri).
How much is delivery for Game Cards?
Standard tracked delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £50 (£5.99 below that), and takes 3-5 working days from ordering. Northern Ireland, the Highlands & Islands, the Isle of Wight, offshore and international addresses are priced live at checkout, as are orders over 15kg (£14.95 whatever the order value). Express and next-day services are available at checkout (next-day: order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri), and a courier can deliver in London on the day you order when you order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri.
Do you provide free artwork templates for Game Cards?
Supply your game cards artwork as a print-ready PDF with 3mm bleed, CMYK colour and images at 300dpi. Full guidance is in the Artwork Guidelines section on this page, and our free digital proof catches any setup issues before printing.
About Game Cards
Game cards are the decks inside a game: the resource, action, character and event cards of a board game prototype, a stand-alone card game, a quiz or conversation deck. Every card is different and the back is shared, so we print them one card per page from your PDF, cut to size with rounded corners, collate the deck in your page order and band it, and the deck you open is the deck you designed, ready to shuffle and playtest.
Choose the poker size (63.5 x 88.9 mm), the standard game card and the one sleeves are made for; bridge size (57 x 89 mm) for a narrower hand of resource or action cards; tarot size (70 x 120 mm) for character, event and location cards with room for an illustration; or A7 and A6 for question and quiz decks. The board is 300gsm silk by default, the weight of a playing card, with 350 and 400gsm silk for a stiffer card and Invercote 300gsm for the brightest white and the crispest colour. Gloss or matt lamination gives a game that is played every night a longer life.
The price is per deck, from a single prototype. Order one for the table, five for playtesters, then the run, and the price per deck falls at each tier. Every order includes a free print preview before anything is printed. For a deck that needs a box, dice or a board, ask for a quote with your files.
