Eco Name Badges are printed on 1.25mm recycled display board, thick enough to hold their shape without the need for a plastic wallet or insert. The lanyard attaches directly to the card, eliminating single-use plastic from your event entirely. A simple, sturdy, and sustainable alternative to traditional badge holders — ideal for conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events.

Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF with 3mm bleed and no crop marks (we add our own). Make sure all colours are CMYK and imagery is 300dpi.

Free design templates
Each template has the bleed, cut line and safe area already marked, so your file is set up correctly first time:
- Download your size: PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
- Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size. It already includes the 3mm bleed.
- Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
- Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.

That window is the whole job, not just the van: we print, finish and dispatch your order and the tracked carrier delivers it. The clock starts when you approve your free print preview, so approving promptly is the fastest thing you can do.

Northern Ireland, the Highlands & Islands, the Isle of Wight, offshore and international addresses are priced live at checkout, as are unusually heavy orders: over 15kg is £14.95 whatever the order value. Flat prints bigger than A4, such as A3 posters or 25 cm stickers, travel in a larger, board-backed pack: paid delivery services carry a packing charge for it, shown at checkout, and free standard delivery stays free. Very large pieces (any side over 120 cm, such as A0 boards) go by courier rather than post, at the courier price shown at checkout for each service. Pieces over 150 cm, or over 100 cm both ways, are beyond the parcel couriers: they travel with a specialist courier at the rate shown at checkout, or we split the artwork into smaller panels for you free of charge. Every order is covered by the Presswift Guarantee: printed to the print preview you approve and the specification you choose, or put right. If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved print preview, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. We reprint the affected copies to the same specification or, where a reprint is not practical, refund them; approved refunds reach your original payment method within 7-10 working days. Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the print preview you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free print preview is for: check the colours, wording and layout on the print preview and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
Do eco badges need a plastic wallet?
No. The board is the badge: it is stiff enough to wear on its own, with a metal eyelet at the top centre for the lanyard clip. Wallets are not offered on this product.
Why is the eyelet included on every badge?
A hole cut in board is not always clean, and a clip pulling on bare board wears the hole. Every eco badge gets a metal eyelet in a 6 mm hole at the top centre, so the clip pulls on metal, not board.
Can I have a double clip lanyard?
Not on board badges: a double clip lanyard clips to the two corner holes of a plastic wallet, which eco badges do not use. Choose a single clip lanyard, or no lanyard if you have your own.
Can every badge have a different name?
Yes. Choose the Individual Names option and supply your list, and every badge in the order carries its own name, matched from your list to its badge.
How should I supply my artwork?
Send a print-ready PDF in CMYK at 300dpi with 3mm bleed. Keep names and logos clear of the edges, and keep a 12 mm circle at the top centre clear for the eyelet hole, which is cut 8 mm down. The blank template marks it.
Are the badges reusable?
The lanyards are. A badge printed with a name is best kept for that one person, and the board can be recycled with paper and card once the eyelet is removed.

About Eco Name Badges
Eco name badges are printed on 1.25 mm recycled display board: a stiff, matt, natural-looking board that needs no plastic wallet, because the badge itself is the finished piece. They suit festivals, sustainability events, markets and any organiser who would rather hand out board than plastic, and once the eyelet is popped out the board goes in with the paper and card for recycling.
Every eco badge comes with Metal Eyelet Reinforcement: one 6 mm hole cut at the top centre, 8 mm down, with a metal eyelet pressed in so the lanyard clip pulls on metal rather than board. A hole cut in board is not always clean on its own, so the eyelet is part of every badge, and because there is no wallet for a double clip lanyard to hold, the lanyards offered are single clip. Keep the top centre of your design clear for the eyelet; the blank template marks the spot.
Choose 85 × 55, 90 × 55 or 90 × 60 mm, single or double sided, with rounded corners if you want the softer look, and use the Individual Names option to put a different name on every badge from one list.
