What is a Print Preview?
Your print preview is an on-screen picture of your file exactly as we will print it, with our lines drawn over it to show where we cut and what is trimmed off. You check it and approve it before anything is printed. Every order gets one free, back within the hour (studio hours, 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday).
What Your Print Preview Shows
Only what is inside the magenta line prints.
Magenta line
We cut here. On a round sticker it is the circle we cut.
Grey stripes
Trimmed off, not kept: the bleed and anything else outside the magenta line.
Green dashes
Keep text and logos inside, because the cut can move by up to 2 mm.
Orange dash-dot
Fold here, not cut, on folded cards, leaflets and booklets.
Panel cut
We cut the panels apart here; every panel is printed in full. It appears only on a piece we split for delivery.
What our check found
Anything that needs your attention, such as missing bleed, a soft image or a file that is not quite the size you ordered, with the free ways to print it.
The lines are not printed.

Checking Your Print Preview
When you check your print preview, look closely at:
- •Text content (spelling, grammar, formatting)
- •The magenta line: anything outside the magenta line is cut off
- •Image quality and placement
- •Overall layout and design elements
- •The grey stripes: the bleed, trimmed off, not kept
- •Font rendering and sizing
- •Colours: a screen cannot show printed colour exactly, so check layout and wording rather than exact shades
⏱️ Turnaround Time
Your free print preview comes back within the hour (studio hours, 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday). For next-day or same-day delivery, order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri; if your file needs a change, what counts is when you approve the new print preview.
