Free design templates

Each template has the bleed, cut line and safe area already marked, so your file is set up correctly first time:

  1. Download your size and corner style — PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
  2. Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size — it already includes the 3mm bleed.
  3. Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
  4. Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.

Delivered within 3-5 working days of ordering, once your free proof is approved. That window is the whole job, not just the van: we print, finish and dispatch your order and the tracked carrier delivers it. The clock starts when you approve your free digital proof, so approving promptly is the fastest thing you can do.

Choose your delivery speed at checkout — every parcel is tracked:

  • Standard delivery — 3-5 working days, free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £25, £2.95 below that
  • Next-day delivery — next working day when you order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, priced at checkout
  • Next-day by 1pm or by 10.30am — next working day, by the time chosen, when you order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, priced at checkout
  • Saturday delivery — Saturday, for orders approved by 2.30pm on Friday, priced at checkout
  • Same-day delivery in London — order up to 500 units with print-ready artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, and a tracked courier delivers the same day. Priced at checkout, including same-day production.

The Highlands & Islands, offshore and international addresses are priced live at checkout, as are unusually heavy orders — over 15kg is £14.95 whatever the order value. Very large pieces (any side over 120cm, such as A0 boards) go by courier rather than post: £7.95 on Standard, with the faster services at the courier's large-parcel rate, shown at checkout. See live delivery prices and times.

Every order is covered by the Presswift Guarantee: printed to the proof you approve and the specification you choose, or put right. If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved proof, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. We reprint the affected copies to the same specification or, where a reprint is not practical, refund them; approved refunds reach your original payment method within 7-10 working days. Read the Presswift Guarantee.

Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.

How long will a Dibond sign last outside?

Dibond is our long-life outdoor board. The aluminium faces are unaffected by rain and frost, and the UV-cured print is water-resistant and colourfast, so it is the board we suggest for shopfronts, plaques and building signs that are meant to be permanent. We do not quote a fixed lifespan, because exposure varies from site to site.

What is the difference between Dibond and Foamex?

Foamex is a PVC foam board: lighter, and fine outdoors for several years. Dibond has aluminium faces on a polyethylene core, so it is stiffer, stays flatter across large sizes and has a more substantial, metal-edged look. Choose Dibond for shopfronts, plaques and anything you consider permanent; choose Foamex where a lighter board suits better.

Can I have Dibond cut to a custom size or shape?

Yes. Type any width and height in millimetres on the product page and the price updates as you go, up to our maximum sheet of 1220 x 2440mm. The Zund cutter can also follow a custom outline, so shaped signs and panels are no problem; just ask if your shape needs checking.

How do I fix a Dibond board to a wall, post or railing?

Choose a Hole finish and the page shows a to-scale picker: pick a preset, drag holes into place or type millimetre positions, in 6, 8 or 10mm and at least 12mm from the edge. You can also mark holes on your artwork as magenta circles on a HOLES layer. The drilled holes are ready for screw fixing.

Is the print scratch-resistant?

Yes. The board is printed direct on our Canon Arizona flatbed and the UV-cured ink is scratch- and water-resistant and colourfast. We do not laminate Dibond; the ink cures hard onto the aluminium face and does not need a film over it.

Do I need a proof before you print?

Not necessarily. A real person checks every file for size, bleed, resolution and hole positions before it prints. If you would like to see it first, add an emailed PDF proof as an optional extra when you order. Bear in mind that screens show RGB and we print CMYK, so colours can differ slightly.

How much do Dibond Boards cost?

Dibond Boards start from £18.48 excluding VAT. The price updates live on this page as you choose your size, material and quantity, and the price per unit falls at higher quantities.

What sizes do Dibond Boards come in?

Dibond Boards are available in 8 sizes: A7, A6, A5, A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0. You can also enter a custom size in millimetres and see the price update instantly.

Which materials can I choose for Dibond Boards?

Dibond Boards can be printed on Dibond 3mm. Each option is listed with its thickness or type so you can match durability to the job, and the page reprices as you switch.

Do you offer bulk discounts on Dibond Boards?

Yes. Dibond Boards carry quantity discounts, so the price per unit falls as the run grows. Change the quantity on this page and the discount is applied to the total automatically.

Can I get Dibond Boards delivered the same day?

Yes. Order Dibond Boards, and approve your artwork, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and a tracked courier delivers them the same day in London. Elsewhere in the UK, standard tracked delivery takes 3-5 working days, with express and next-day options at checkout (next-day: order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri).

How much is delivery for Dibond Boards?

About Dibond Boards

Dibond is an aluminium composite panel: two thin skins of aluminium bonded either side of a solid polyethylene core, 3mm thick in total. That sandwich is what makes it behave differently from plastic boards. It stays dead flat across a full A0 sheet, it does not flex when the wind gets behind it, and it is fully weatherproof, so rain, frost and sun are no concern. The face is smooth and evenly white, so photographs, gradients and small text print cleanly. It is the board we recommend when a sign needs to last years rather than a season.

Every Dibond board is printed in-house in Battersea, direct to the panel on a Canon Arizona UV flatbed. The UV-cured inks bond to the aluminium face, so the print is scratch- and water-resistant and holds its colour outdoors. From there the sheet goes to the Zund digital cutter, which trims it to size, rounds the corners and drills fixing holes in one pass. Order single or double sided. Shopfront fascias, building signs, estate-agent boards, wayfinding, house signs, memorial plaques and gallery-style photo panels are the everyday jobs, along with exhibition panels that go out again and again.

Send a print-ready PDF at 300dpi in CMYK with 3mm bleed, keeping text and logos at least 10mm inside the trim. Choose a Hole finish and a to-scale picker appears: use a preset, drag holes into place or type millimetre coordinates, with 6, 8 or 10mm holes kept at least 12mm from the edge. Every file is checked by a person before printing; a PDF proof by email is an optional add-on, and we can set the artwork if you prefer.
