The twin-loop wire lets every page turn a full 360 degrees and the booklet lie flat on a bench or desk, which is why site manuals, workbooks and presentation documents use it. It takes 10 to 300 pages in A4, A5 or a custom size, printed single or double sided. Every stock on this page is available, from 100gsm silk and uncoated to 250gsm. The next-day rule
Next-day delivery needs your order in, and your artwork approved, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri for delivery the next working day. Production is scheduled from your approval, not from the time you order, so orders placed or artwork approved after that, or at weekends and bank holidays, are dispatched on the next working day and arrive the working day after. Every order gets a free artwork proof within the hour; changes to the artwork itself are a priced service per file, back within the hour too.

When should I choose wire over comb binding for a next-day document?
Choose wire when the booklet has to fold right back on itself and stay put: a manual propped open beside a machine, a workbook on a knee, a deck flipped page by page on a lectern. The metal wire is slimmer and tougher than a plastic comb and gives a more finished, notebook-like look. The trade-off is permanence: pages cannot be swapped once the wire is crimped.
How does the page count affect a wire bound booklet?
It sets the wire size. A slim presentation document and a thick specification file both use the same process, but the loops are larger on the thicker one so the pages still turn freely. The configurator accepts 10 to 300 pages and counts each printed side as a page, so a 60-page double sided document is 30 sheets. Any number in that range binds; there is no rounding up.
Can I print on both sides, and does that change how I lay out the file?
Yes to both sides. In a double sided document the punched holes sit on the left of odd pages and the right of even pages, so give both edges a clear inner margin rather than just the left. Supply the whole document as one PDF of single pages, in order, at the finished size with 3 mm bleed. Spreads or facing-page layouts have to be split before printing.
Which stock do you recommend for a manual used on site or in a kitchen?
Something with a bit of body: 160gsm uncoated if people will write on it, 170gsm silk if the pages carry photographs and diagrams that need to stay legible when the booklet is propped up. Both are in the list on this page along with 100gsm, 120gsm and 200gsm uncoated and 100gsm to 250gsm silk, so a lighter stock is there if the document is long.
Do you print or deliver wire bound booklets at the weekend?
No. Both happen on working days only. An order in before the cut-off on Thursday is delivered on Friday; an order in before the cut-off on Friday is delivered on Monday, or on Tuesday if Monday is a bank holiday. A Saturday order is printed on Monday and delivered on Tuesday. The page above already accounts for this in the dates it shows.
Is there a minimum order, and what does the faster delivery add?
No minimum: the quantity list begins at a single booklet. The booklet price is the same whichever delivery you choose, and the next working day option is priced at checkout for the address you give, so you see the total before paying. If the manuals can wait, standard delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £25 (£2.95 below that) and takes 3-5 working days.
