Order by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and your slips are printed the same day and delivered the next working day to any UK mainland address, so the next batch of parcels goes out with a branded note inside. Slips print on uncoated paper from 100gsm through 120gsm, 160gsm, 200gsm and 250gsm up to 300gsm and 350gsm card, all of which take a biro or fountain pen without smudging. A tracked courier delivers the next working day anywhere on the UK mainland. Weekends and bank holidays are skipped, and the dates above already account for that.

The next-day rule
Next-day delivery needs your order in, and your artwork approved, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri for delivery the next working day. Production is scheduled from your approval, not from the time you order, so orders placed or artwork approved after that, or at weekends and bank holidays, are dispatched on the next working day and arrive the working day after. Every order gets a free artwork proof within the hour; changes to the artwork itself are a priced service per file, back within the hour too.

What paper weight works best for compliment slips?
It depends on how you use them. 100gsm and 120gsm uncoated feel like a letterhead and suit slips that travel inside an envelope with an invoice. 160gsm and 200gsm are noticeably firmer and sit well in a parcel. 250gsm, 300gsm and 350gsm are card weights, closer to a postcard, for a slip that is meant to be kept. All of them are uncoated, so handwriting dries cleanly.
Which sizes are available for next-day compliment slips?
DL is the classic slip, one third of an A4 sheet and a natural fit for a DL envelope. A6 gives a squarer note with room for a longer message, A7 is a compact tag-sized slip for small parcels, and a custom size lets you match an existing box or envelope. Every size follows the same 2.30pm Mon–Fri cut-off for next-working-day delivery.
Can I set up a compliment slip without artwork?
Yes. The online designer has slip templates where you drop in your logo, address and contact line and leave the middle clear for handwriting. Approve the design before 2.30pm Mon–Fri and it goes straight to press. If you already have a letterhead file, an uploaded PDF with 3 mm bleed at DL, A6 or A7 keeps the two pieces matching.
Is there a minimum order for next-day slips?
The smallest tier is 10 slips, and the tiers run through 20, 30, 40, 50, 75, 100, 150 and 200, with a custom quantity above that. A small run costs little and is a sensible way to see the paper in hand before you commit to a larger reorder; the next-day timing is the same whichever quantity you choose.
The packing run is due out and I've missed the slip cut-off. What happens now?
Nationally, the slips print on the next working day and arrive the day after that, and the dates on this page move forward the moment 2.30pm passes, so you can see the new date before you check out. If you're in London, Tomorrow Delivery is offered instead: your slips go to the front of the next morning's production and a courier brings them that same day, priced like the same-day courier, which suits a parcel run that can't wait for the ordinary next-working-day route.
