Each template has the bleed, cut line and safe area already marked, so your file is set up correctly first time:
- Download your size and corner style — PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
- Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size — it already includes the 3mm bleed.
- Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
- Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.

Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. What is a Z-fold?
A Z-fold has two folds made in opposite directions, so the sheet zig-zags into three panels shaped like the letter Z. It opens out flat in one motion, giving you three equal sections that each work as a standalone part of your message.
How is a Z-fold different from a roll-fold?
A Z-fold concertinas back and forth with three roughly equal panels, while a roll-fold wraps panels inward, tucking each behind the next with slightly narrower inner panels. Choose Z-fold for equal, sectioned content and roll-fold for a sequential, page-by-page reveal.
What is a Z-fold ideal for?
It suits content that divides naturally into three parts, such as three services, a course-by-course menu, price tiers or a compact fold-out map. The equal panels make it easy to read each section in turn or take in the whole spread at once.
How should I lay out the three panels?
Plan each side of the sheet as three panels and remember the folding sequence means panels do not simply read left to right on the flat artwork. Keep key content roughly 5mm from every fold, add 3mm bleed, and check your free digital proof.
