Two outer panels fold inward and meet in the middle, so the piece opens outward like double doors. When closed you see the two flaps; when opened you reveal a wide inner spread. It is one physical sheet scored to fold in from both sides.

Treat the closed flaps as a teaser or cover, then design the inner spread as one continuous image or layout for maximum impact. Because the side panels are usually slightly narrower so they meet neatly, allow for that when placing artwork.
