A giant cheque turns a handover into a photograph. We print yours direct to the board on our Canon Arizona UV flatbed in Battersea, single sided and full colour, then cut it to size on the Zund. Choose 5mm foam board for the lightest indoor cheque, easy to hold up for the camera, or 4mm Correx if the presentation happens on a pitch, a car park or a doorstep in the rain. Standard sizes run from 600 x 300mm to 1200 x 600mm, or type your own millimetre size and price it live. Add lamination and the payee and amount can be written in dry-wipe pen and reused.

If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved proof, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
Which board should I choose, foam board or Correx?
Foam board is the lighter of the two and the easiest to hold up for photographs, but it is indoor only and not weatherproof. Choose Correx if the handover happens outdoors, on a pitch or in a car park, because it is waterproof, weatherproof and still light.
Can I write on the cheque and reuse it?
Yes, if you add lamination. The matt or gloss film gives a wipe-clean surface, so you can fill in the payee, amount and date with a dry-wipe pen, then wipe it off for the next presentation. Without lamination the surface is not wipe-clean, so treat the cheque as single use.
What size giant cheque should I order?
600 x 300mm suits a single presenter and a close-up photo. 900 x 450mm works well for two or three people holding it together. 1200 x 600mm reads clearly across a hall or from the back of a press photo. Type any other size in millimetres and the page prices it live.
Do you print both sides?
No. Giant cheques are single sided, full colour, with the reverse left as plain white board, which keeps the price down, and in any case nobody photographs the back. If you need a message or sponsor logos on the reverse, ask us for a quote before you order.
Can you design the cheque for me?
Yes. Send us the charity or club logo, the payee, the amount and any sponsor marks, and we will set the artwork for you, including a blank space if you want to write the amount in on the day. An emailed PDF proof is available as an optional add-on.
Will the colours match my charity's brand?
Closely, but not always exactly. Your screen shows colours in RGB and we print in CMYK on a UV flatbed, so a vivid brand colour can look a shade different on the board. Supply CMYK values if you have them, and every file is checked by a person before it prints.

About Giant Cheques
Giant Cheques are oversized presentation cheques for the moment a donation, prize or sponsorship changes hands. Foam board is 5mm of foam core between paper liners: very light, so even a 1200 x 600mm cheque is comfortable to hold at arm's length through a long round of photographs, but strictly indoor and not weatherproof. Correx is 4mm white fluted polypropylene: lightweight, waterproof and weatherproof, so a pitch-side or car-park presentation in British weather is no problem, and it can be recycled afterwards. Both are single sided, full colour and printed edge to edge.
Every cheque is printed in-house in Battersea, direct to the board on a Canon Arizona UV flatbed. The UV-cured inks are scratch- and water-resistant and colourfast, so the cheque survives being passed between a dozen pairs of hands. Our Zund cutter trims it to size and, if you ask for them, rounds the corners in the same pass. Order from one to ten: a single cheque for a corporate donation, or a batch for a lottery draw with several winners. Add lamination to reuse the cheque: write the payee and amount in dry-wipe pen, wipe, repeat.
Send a print-ready PDF: 300dpi, CMYK, 3mm bleed, with the payee line, amount and logos at least 10mm inside the trim. Leaving a blank for handwriting? Tell us and we will check the space. Every file is looked at by a real person before it prints; an emailed PDF proof is an optional add-on. No artwork? We can set it for you.
