Selfie Frames are hand-held photo frames printed in full colour on our Canon Arizona flatbed and cut out on the Zund, so the window in the middle is clean and exactly where your artwork puts it. Choose 5mm foam board for the lightest frame guests can hold at arm's length, or 10mm Eco Display Board when the frame needs to survive a whole evening of being passed around. A1, A0 or any custom size in millimetres, single sided, from one to ten frames per order.

Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF with a 3mm bleed and crop marks. Make sure all colours are CMYK and imagery is 300dpi.

If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved proof, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
Which material should I choose, foam board or Eco Display Board?
Pick 5mm foam board if the frame will be held for a few photos and weight matters most; it is the lightest we make. Pick 10mm Eco Display Board if it will be passed around all evening, as the honeycomb core is stiffer and shrugs off knocks. Both are indoor only.
How big should the cut-out window be?
That is up to your design. Draw the window on your artwork and we cut exactly that shape on the Zund. Leave a border wide enough for names, a date or a hashtag, and keep that text at least 10mm from every cut edge. If you are unsure, ask us to set the artwork.
Can I use a selfie frame outdoors?
No. Foam board and Eco Display Board are indoor materials and neither is weatherproof, so rain will spoil the print and soften the board. Keep the frame under cover during the event and bring it inside between events.
Do I get a proof before you print?
Every file is checked by a real person before it goes on the press, and we will flag anything that looks wrong. If you want to see the layout first, add the emailed PDF proof at checkout; it is an optional add-on rather than part of the standard price.
Can I order a size other than A1 or A0?
Yes. Enter any width and height in millimetres on the product page and the price updates as you type. A1 is 594 x 841mm and A0 is 841 x 1189mm; anything between, smaller or larger works, up to the 1220 x 2440mm sheet.
How many can I order and how fast can I have them?
From one frame to ten per order, which covers a single wedding frame or a set for every table. Order by the weekday cut-off and we can deliver across London the same day; elsewhere in the UK allow three to five working days.

About Selfie Frames
A selfie frame is a printed board with the centre cut away, big enough for a group to hold up and grin through. We make them in two materials. Foam board is 5mm thick, a foam core between paper liners, and it is the lightest option, easy for children or a bride in heels to hold for a run of photos. Eco Display Board is 10mm recycled fibre honeycomb board: stiffer, harder wearing and recyclable, the choice when the frame will be passed around a marquee all night. Both are indoor materials; neither is weatherproof.
Every frame is printed direct to the board in our Battersea print room on a Canon Arizona UV flatbed, so the colour is scratch-resistant and will not rub off under a hundred sets of hands. The Zund flatbed cutter then cuts the outer edge and the window in one pass, which is why the aperture lines up with your design rather than sitting a few millimetres off. A1 suits couples and small groups; A0 gives a crowd room. Weddings, hen dos, product launches, proms and hashtag campaigns all use the same idea: a frame people want to be photographed in.
Send a print-ready PDF at 300dpi in CMYK with 3mm bleed, keeping text at least 10mm inside the trim and clear of the window. Mark the cut-out on your artwork so we cut where you intend, or ask us to set the design. A real person checks every file before it prints, and an emailed PDF proof is available as an optional add-on. Screens show RGB and the press prints CMYK, so expect a slight shift in the brightest tones.
