Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF with a 3mm bleed and crop marks. Make sure all colours are CMYK and imagery is 300dpi.

Free design templates
Each template has the bleed, cut line and safe area already marked, so your file is set up correctly first time:
- Download your size and corner style — PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
- Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size — it already includes the 3mm bleed.
- Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
- Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.

Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
Can display boards be used outside?
No. Displayboard is a 1.25mm card, so it will soften and warp if it gets wet. It is made for indoor point-of-sale, presentations and short-term displays. If your sign needs to live outdoors, choose Correx for something light and low-cost, Foamex for a smoother finish, or Dibond for the long haul.
What is the strut option?
A strut is a fold-out card stand on the back of the board, so it stands upright on a counter, table or shelf without an easel or frame. It is offered together with rounded corners, which keep the edges tidy where customers handle the board. Pick the rounded corners and strut finish when you configure your size.
Where can I put the fixing holes?
Choose a Hole finish and a to-scale picker appears. Use a preset (one top-centre, two top corners, four corners, two sides), drag holes into place or type exact millimetre positions. Pick 6, 8 or 10mm holes, or mark them as magenta circles on a HOLES layer in your artwork. Holes sit at least 12mm from any edge.
Is lamination worth adding to a display board?
It depends on how much handling the board will get. Our large-format matt or gloss film adds a wipe-clean layer, which helps for menu boards, price boards and anything customers touch or lean on. For a pitch board that lives in a meeting room for a week, the bare UV-printed surface is usually enough.
Can I print on both sides?
Yes. Choose double sided and we print the reverse on the same board, so a hanging shelf talker or a window display reads from both directions. Supply the front and back as separate pages in your PDF. Black and white printing is also available on either side if you only need text.
What size should I choose for a presentation or exhibition board?
A1 and A0 are the usual choices for exhibition graphics and university project boards, A2 and A3 suit easels in a shop or meeting room, and A4 down to A7 covers shelf talkers, price tickets and tabletop cards. If a standard size does not fit, type your own width and height in millimetres and the price updates as you go.

About Display Boards
Displayboard is a 1.25mm rigid card: thin, light and economical, which makes it the sensible choice for anything that needs to stand up straight indoors for a few days or weeks rather than a few years. It is slim enough to slide into a shelf-edge strip or sit behind a framed print as a backing board, light enough to hang with tape or Velcro, and stiff enough not to curl on an easel. It is not weatherproof, so keep it out of the rain; for anything living outdoors, look at Correx or Foamex instead.
We print every display board in-house in Battersea, direct to the card on a Canon Arizona UV flatbed. The UV-cured ink sits hard on the surface, so it shrugs off scuffs and fingerprints and prints right to the edge. The Zund flatbed cutter then trims each board to size and, in the same pass, rounds the corners and drills fixing holes. Add a fold-out strut and the board stands unaided on a counter or table. Pick single or double sided, colour or black and white, and any size from A7 to A0 or a custom millimetre size priced live.
Send a print-ready PDF at 300dpi in CMYK with 3mm bleed, and keep text and logos at least 10mm inside the trim, especially if you are adding rounded corners or holes. If you would rather we set the artwork, just ask. Every file is checked by a person before it goes near the printer, and an emailed PDF proof is available as an optional add-on if you want to sign it off first. Screens show RGB and we print CMYK, so colours can shift a little.
