Escort cards can only be printed once the table plan is settled, and the table plan is usually the last thing to settle. Order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and the full set is printed the same day and delivered on the next working day to any UK mainland address, so a seating chart finalised on a Wednesday is on the entrance table by Thursday. After the cut-off, or at a weekend or bank holiday, printing moves to the next working day and delivery follows the day after.
They print one guest per card on 350gsm uncoated or 324gsm Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite Eggshell, a wedding-grade card, with a custom stock option if the suite calls for something specific. Sizes are A7, A6, 85 × 55 mm and 89 × 51 mm, plus custom, single or double sided, in tiers from 10 to 200 or a custom quantity. Design the set online, or upload a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed and one card per page. The cards cost the same as any other day.

How next-day escort cards work
Order and approve by 2.30pm
Choose your options, upload your artwork or finish a design online, and pay by 2.30pm Mon–Fri. Choose next-day delivery at checkout, then approve your free proof by the same time, because we print once you approve.
Printed the same day
Your escort cards are printed in our London print room the same afternoon, one guest per card on the stock you chose, then cut to size and packed ready to lay out.
Delivered the next working day
A tracked courier delivers the next working day anywhere on the UK mainland. Next-day delivery skips weekends and bank holidays, and the dates above already account for that. Saturday Delivery is offered at checkout, to UK mainland addresses, when your order can leave us on a Friday: order between 2.30pm on Thursday and 2.30pm on Friday, and approve your artwork by 2.30pm on Friday.

The next-day rule
Next-day delivery needs your order in, and your artwork approved, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri for delivery the next working day. Production is scheduled from your approval, not from the time you order, so orders placed or artwork approved after that, or at weekends and bank holidays, are dispatched on the next working day and arrive the working day after. Every order gets a free print preview within the hour; changes to the artwork itself are a priced service per file, back within the hour too.
Missed the 2.30pm cutoff? In London, choose the Priority courier at checkout: printed first thing on the next working day and delivered by tracked courier that day (tomorrow when you order Monday to Thursday), priced like same-day.
What counts
- Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding England and Wales bank holidays; the print room is in London.
- Next-day delivery covers the UK mainland; Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland rates and timings are shown at checkout.
- Order and approve your artwork by the cut-off, whether it is a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed or a finished online design: we book production from your approval, not your payment.
- Not in a hurry? Standard delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £50 and takes 3-5 working days.
Next-day escort cards FAQs
How do I get all forty guest names printed correctly on the escort cards?
Build the escort card once in the online designer, complete with table numbers, then work through the guest list swapping in each name before you approve; the layout and stock stay identical across the run. If you would rather typeset the whole list yourself, upload a single PDF with one escort card per page, at the finished size with 3 mm bleed, in the order guests should be found at the entrance table. Whichever route you use, order and approve the final file by 2.30pm Mon–Fri: we book production from your approval, not your payment, and a name cannot be corrected once printing has started.
Which card stocks are available for next-day escort cards?
350gsm uncoated, a sturdy matt card that suits handwritten additions, or 324gsm Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite Eggshell, the bright white premium card used across wedding suites. A custom stock can also be requested. Both standard stocks print the same day; choose one in the configurator and the price shows before you pick the delivery speed.
What sizes can escort cards be printed in for next-day delivery?
A7, A6, 85 × 55 mm and 89 × 51 mm, or a custom size in millimetres. The two smaller business-card formats suit a tight alphabetical grid; A7 and A6 give room for a table name and a line of decoration. All sizes are cut to finished size the same day, single or double sided, in quantities from 10 to 200 or a custom count.
Can escort cards still make the next working day if the table plan is only confirmed this afternoon?
Yes, provided you order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri: the full set is printed that same afternoon and handed to a courier for delivery on the next working day, to any UK mainland address. Confirm after 2.30pm, or over a weekend or bank holiday, and the set prints on the next working day instead, arriving the working day after. This page works both outcomes out from today's date, so you can see which one applies before you commit to a plan.
The table plan changed after I ordered. Can I add a few names?
Place a second small order for the affected guests only; escort card tiers start at 10, so a top-up is inexpensive. Order and approve it by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and it follows the same next-working-day timetable as the first set. Choose the same stock and size so the new cards sit indistinguishably among the originals on the entrance table.
Is there any way to get escort cards printed if we only notice they're missing the night before the wedding?
If the venue is in London, choose the Priority courier at checkout: once you approve your artwork, the set goes into priority production first thing the next working day and a courier brings it to the venue that same day, priced like the same-day courier. Outside London, an order placed now still prints on the next working day and reaches the venue the working day after, exactly as the dates on this page show.
Can I use artwork I made with ChatGPT, Canva or another AI tool?
Yes. Every file is checked before it prints, whatever made it. AI images are often made at screen size, so on a larger print they can come out soft: if yours would, we show you which image and you choose to print it as it is, upload a sharper file, or send us the high-resolution images and our studio updates the artwork for you. You can run the same check before you order with our free file check.
What does next-day delivery cost for escort cards?
Next-day delivery is from £9.95 +VAT to UK mainland addresses. The exact charge for your address is shown at checkout, and the product price is the same as any other day.
