Next-Day Greeting Cards
With a greeting card, somebody else fixes the date. Order by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and your card, or a batch of them, is printed and folded the same day and delivered on the next working day to any UK mainland address: the birthday that crept up, the leaving card for a colleague finishing this week, a thank-you that should not arrive a fortnight late. Order after the cut-off and it prints on the next working day, arriving the working day after.
Cards print double sided on 300gsm, 350gsm or 400gsm silk, so the outside carries your photograph and the inside carries the message, then they are scored and folded here. Sizes are A6, A5, A4 and A3, or a custom size, and quantities start at a single card and run to 250. Design the card online with your own photos and words, or upload a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed; the price per card is the same as any other day.

Your greeting cards are printed on the silk board you chose in our London print room the same afternoon, then scored, folded and packed so the crease arrives crisp.
Delivered the next working day
A tracked courier delivers the next working day anywhere on the UK mainland. Weekends and bank holidays are skipped, and the dates above already account for that.

The next-day rule
Next-day delivery needs your order in, and your artwork approved, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri for delivery the next working day. Production is scheduled from your approval, not from the time you order, so orders placed or artwork approved after that, or at weekends and bank holidays, are dispatched on the next working day and arrive the working day after. Every order gets a free artwork proof within the hour; changes to the artwork itself are a priced service per file, back within the hour too.

Can I order a single personalised greeting card for next-day delivery?
Yes. Quantities start at one, so a single card designed online for one person goes through the same next-working-day timetable as a batch. Packs of 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 250 are priced on the product page for a team, class or client list, and the per-card price does not change because you chose the faster delivery.
Which sizes and card weights are available next day?
A6, A5, A4 and A3 cards, or a custom size, on 300gsm, 350gsm or 400gsm silk. 300gsm is the everyday weight and the lightest to post; 350gsm and 400gsm give the card enough substance to stand on a mantelpiece without leaning. Every option on this page prints the same day when you order by 2.30pm Mon–Fri.
How can I add my own photo to a birthday card before the cut-off?
Open the online designer, choose a template for the occasion, drop your photograph onto the cover and type the message for the inside, then approve the design. Approving is what matters: do it before 2.30pm Mon–Fri and the card goes straight into production from the file the designer builds for you. Prefer to supply your own layout instead? Upload a double-sided PDF at the flat size with 3 mm bleed and skip the designer altogether.
Does the card arrive folded?
Yes. Greeting cards are printed flat on silk board, scored along the spine and folded in our finishing department before they are packed, so the crease is clean rather than cracked and the card is ready to write in the moment it arrives. Folding is part of the same-day production step, not an extra day.
If I order a greeting card on a Friday, when does it arrive?
On the Monday, provided you order before 2.30pm and that Monday is a working day; if it is a bank holiday the card arrives on the Tuesday. Next-day always means the next working day, so there is no delivery at weekends or on bank holidays. The dates at the top of this page apply that rule to your clock automatically.
Does ordering a batch of Christmas cards for next-day delivery push the price up?
No: whether you print one card or the full run of 250, the price per card is set by quantity and stock alone, exactly as it would be on any other day. Only the delivery speed is charged separately at checkout, worked out for your address. Ordering a Christmas batch in good time instead qualifies for standard delivery, which is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £25 (£2.95 below that) and takes 3-5 working days.
