Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF with a 3mm bleed and crop marks. Make sure all colours are CMYK and imagery is 300dpi.

Free design templates
Each template has the bleed, cut line and safe area already marked, so your file is set up correctly first time:
- Download your size and corner style — PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
- Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size — it already includes the 3mm bleed.
- Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
- Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.

That window is the whole job, not just the van: we print, finish and dispatch your order and the tracked carrier delivers it. The clock starts when you approve your free digital proof, so approving promptly is the fastest thing you can do.

The Highlands & Islands, offshore and international addresses are priced live at checkout, as are unusually heavy orders — over 15kg is £14.95 whatever the order value. Every order is covered by the Presswift Guarantee: printed to the proof you approve and the specification you choose, or put right. If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved proof, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. We reprint the affected copies to the same specification or, where a reprint is not practical, refund them; approved refunds reach your original payment method within 7-10 working days. Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
When should save the dates go out?
Far enough ahead that guests can book time off and accommodation — for most weddings that means several months before the invitations. The card only needs the names, the date and a line saying the invitation will follow.
What papers can I choose?
350gsm silk and uncoated as everyday options, plus Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite Eggshell 324gsm, Gmund Bauhaus Dessau, GF Smith Accent Antique Silk 270gsm and Munken Kristall 400gsm. The uncoated and eggshell stocks feel softer and more tactile; the silks keep photographs sharp.
Can I have gold or silver foiling?
Yes. Foiling is applied digitally without a die, so a monogram, a name or a date can be foiled in gold or silver without the setup cost a traditional foiling block would carry. Add it as a finishing option on this page. Foiling is a separate pass after printing and adds 3 to 4 working days to the turnaround, so same-day and next-day delivery are not available on a foiled order.
Will my invitations match?
They will if you use the same stock and finish. We print wedding invitations, RSVP cards, place cards and escort cards on the same papers, so the suite reads as one set from the save the date onwards.
How many should I order?
One per household rather than one per guest, plus a handful of spares for addresses that turn up late. The minimum order is 10 and the price per card falls as the quantity rises.

Sizes run A6, A5, DL and 5 x 7 inch, plus custom dimensions. The paper range is the reason to look closely: alongside 350gsm silk and 350gsm uncoated we stock Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite Eggshell at 324gsm, Gmund Bauhaus Dessau, GF Smith Accent Antique Silk at 270gsm and Munken Kristall at 400gsm. The uncoated and eggshell papers have a soft, tactile surface that takes ink beautifully and feels considered in the hand; the silks keep photographs sharp and colour deep.
Gold and silver foiling is available as a die-free digital process, so a monogram, a name or a date can be foiled without the cost of a foiling die — worth knowing on a short run. Matt and gloss lamination and rounded corners are also available. The minimum order is 10 and the price per card falls as the run grows.
