Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF with a 3mm bleed and crop marks. Make sure all colours are CMYK and imagery is 300dpi.

Each template has the bleed, cut line and safe area already marked, so your file is set up correctly first time:
- Download your size and corner style — PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
- Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size — it already includes the 3mm bleed.
- Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
- Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.

Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
Can I use foam board outside?
No. The paper liners absorb moisture, so foam board is not weatherproof and will not survive rain or damp. It is an indoor board for exhibitions, events and displays. If your sign needs to live outdoors, choose Correx for short-term use or Foamex and Dibond for longer runs.
How do I stand or hang a foam board?
For a tabletop, add the rounded corners and strut finish: a fold-out card stand fixed to the back. For walls, the board is light enough for Velcro pads or double-sided tape. For hanging, choose a hole finish and place the holes with the on-page picker; each hole sits at least 12mm from the edge.
What sizes can I order?
Anything from A7 up to A0 from the size menu, or type your own width and height in millimetres and the price updates as you go. The largest single sheet we print is 1220 x 2440mm. Giant cheques, table plans and press-conference backdrops all fit comfortably within that.
Should I add lamination?
Lamination adds a matt or gloss film over the print. On foam board it earns its place when the board will be handled a lot, wiped down, or needs the depth a gloss finish gives to photographs. For a one-day pitch or exhibition, the bare UV print is already scratch-resistant.
Will the colours match my screen?
Close, but not identical. Screens show colours in RGB while we print in CMYK, so some very bright screen colours can print a touch softer. Supply your file in CMYK to see the nearest preview, and add the optional emailed PDF proof if you want to sign off before we print.
Can I print on both sides?
Yes. Choose double sided when you configure the board and supply artwork for both faces. Double-sided boards suit table plans, freestanding easel displays viewed from both directions and hanging signs. Text and logos should still sit 10mm inside the trim on each side.

About Foam Boards
Foam board, sometimes called foamboard or foamcore, is a 5mm sheet of lightweight foam faced on both sides with a smooth paper liner. That construction gives it a flat white printing surface and a weight that surprises people the first time they pick up an A0 board with one hand. The trade-off is that the paper liners do not like moisture, so foam board belongs indoors. Kept dry, it stays crisp for the length of an exhibition, a trial, a pitch or a wedding weekend, which is exactly what it is made for.
Every foam board is printed in our Battersea workshop on a Canon Arizona UV flatbed, which lays UV-cured ink straight onto the board rather than printing a vinyl and mounting it. The result is a scratch-resistant, colourfast print with no bubbles or peeling edges and full edge-to-edge coverage. The Zund flatbed cutter then trims it to size, rounds the corners and cuts hanging holes in the same pass, so a batch of ten A2 boards comes out identical. Choose single or double sided, colour or black and white, from one board to ten, with larger runs quoted on request.
Send a print-ready PDF (300dpi, CMYK, 3mm bleed) with text and logos at least 10mm inside the trim, or ask us to set the artwork for you. If you choose a hole finish, a to-scale picker on the page lets you place each hole precisely, or mark them on your own artwork. A real person checks every file before it prints, and an emailed PDF proof is available as an optional add-on. Because foam board is so light, even a full set of A0 boards is easy to carry into a venue or hall once it arrives.
