Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF with 3mm bleed and no crop marks (we add our own). Make sure all colours are CMYK and imagery is 300dpi.

Free design templates
Each template has the bleed, cut line and safe area already marked, so your file is set up correctly first time:
- Download your size: PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
- Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size. It already includes the 3mm bleed.
- Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
- Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.

Northern Ireland, the Highlands & Islands, the Isle of Wight, offshore and international addresses are priced live at checkout, as are unusually heavy orders: over 15kg is £14.95 whatever the order value. Flat prints bigger than A4, such as A3 posters or 25 cm stickers, travel in a larger, board-backed pack: paid delivery services carry a packing charge for it, shown at checkout, and free standard delivery stays free. Very large pieces (any side over 120 cm, such as A0 boards) go by courier rather than post, at the courier price shown at checkout for each service. Pieces over 150 cm, or over 100 cm both ways, are beyond the parcel couriers: they travel with a specialist courier at the rate shown at checkout, or we split the artwork into smaller panels for you free of charge. Every order is covered by the Presswift Guarantee: printed to the print preview you approve and the specification you choose, or put right. If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved print preview, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the print preview you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free print preview is for: check the colours, wording and layout on the print preview and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
What size is a tent card when it is folded, and when it is flat?
The size on the page is each face of the card. With a long edge fold, A5 faces stand 210 mm wide and 148 mm tall from a flat sheet of 210 × 296 mm; A4 faces stand 297 × 210 mm from 297 × 420 mm; A6 faces 148 × 105 mm from 148 × 210 mm; DL faces 210 × 99 mm from 210 × 198 mm. With a short edge fold, A5 faces stand 148 mm wide and 210 mm tall from a flat sheet of 148 × 420 mm; A6 faces 105 × 148 mm from 105 × 296 mm; DL faces 99 × 210 mm from 99 × 420 mm. A4 faces come with the long edge fold only, because a short edge fold would need a 210 × 594 mm sheet, longer than our press sheet. Should I choose a long edge fold or a short edge fold?
The fold edge is the edge of each face the crease runs along. A long edge fold gives the usual tent card, standing landscape, wider than it is tall, which suits table numbers, reserved signs and menus. A short edge fold gives a portrait card, taller than it is wide, which suits a name card, a price ticket or a notice that needs to be seen from further away. The faces are the same size either way; only the direction of the fold and the flat sheet change. The price follows the sheet, so the two fold edges of one size can price a little differently, and a fold whose sheet would not fit our SRA3 press is not offered.
How should I set up my artwork?
Supply a print-ready PDF in CMYK at 300dpi with 3mm bleed, at the flat sheet size for your size and fold edge: the standing card twice as tall, for example 210 × 296 mm for A5 faces with a long edge fold or 148 × 420 mm for A5 faces with a short edge fold. Lay it out as one page with the crease across the middle. The panel below the fold is the front face; the panel above it is the back face, placed upside down so it reads the right way up when the card stands. Keep text at least 5mm clear of the crease. Can I print on both faces of a tent card?
Yes. Both faces are visible when the card stands, so you can promote one message on each side or show the same content to guests seated around a table. Both faces sit on the same side of the flat sheet, one either side of the crease.
How do tent cards stand up on their own?
They are creased to fold into a triangular shape that supports itself on a flat surface, so no separate holder or stand is needed to keep them upright. Tent cards arrive creased and flat, ready to fold, unless you add the half fold.
Do the cards arrive folded or flat?
Tent cards are scored and creased ready to fold into shape, and packed flat so the crease stays crisp, unless you choose the half fold: then they arrive folded. Setting them up on the table takes moments, and they hold their form once folded.
Can every tent card be different, such as a buffet label or a name on each?
Yes. Tick Individual Names (Batch Artwork), set the quantity to the total number of cards and upload one PDF with a page for each card. If you need several copies of some designs, either repeat those pages or send each design once and tell us the copies in the notes box, for example "page 3 x 7". If you have one design and a list of names, upload the design and add the list as a supporting file. You approve every card on your print preview before anything prints.

About Tent Cards
Tent cards are folded, freestanding table cards that sit upright without any support, showing a message on both faces. Common on restaurant tables, reception desks and event counters, they present specials, offers, table numbers or instructions right where people are seated and looking.
The size you choose is the size of each face, front and back, and you choose which edge of the face the crease runs along. A long edge fold creases along the long edge, so the card stands landscape, the usual tent card: A5 faces stand 210 mm wide and 148 mm tall, A4 faces 297 × 210 mm, A6 faces 148 × 105 mm and DL faces 210 × 99 mm. The flat sheet is the standing card twice as tall, creased across its middle, and the page shows both standing sizes and both flat sheets for the size you pick. Everything we sell, custom sizes included, has to fit our SRA3 press sheet, so A4 faces are made with the long edge fold only (a short edge fold would need a 210 × 594 mm sheet).
