Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF with a 3mm bleed and crop marks. Make sure all colours are CMYK and imagery is 300dpi.

Free design templates
Each template has the bleed, cut line and safe area already marked, so your file is set up correctly first time:
- Download your size and corner style — PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
- Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size — it already includes the 3mm bleed.
- Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
- Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.

If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved proof, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
Can bookmarks be printed on both sides?
Yes. Choose Double sided and Colour and we print full colour on the front and the reverse, which lets you put your main design on one face and details such as a reading list, website or quote on the other. Single-sided and black-and-white are available and cost less, so pick whichever suits what the reverse has to carry.
What artwork should I supply for bookmarks?
Send a print-ready PDF set to CMYK at 300dpi with 3mm bleed on every edge. Keep important text and logos a few millimetres away from the trim so nothing is lost when the bookmarks are cut to their final size.
Are bookmarks a good promotional item?

About Bookmarks
Bookmarks are long, thin printed cards that keep a reader's place without damaging the pages. Our standard size is 148 x 52mm — the height of an A5 page, slim enough to sit inside a paperback without splaying it — and you can enter your own dimensions in millimetres if you want a longer or wider format. The minimum order is 25.
The two sides do different jobs. Print your main artwork, cover image or logo on the front, and use the reverse for the detail a reader will come back to: a reading list, an ISBN, a quote, opening hours or a website. Choose Double sided and Colour to use both faces in full colour; single-sided and black-and-white are cheaper options if the reverse is only carrying a line of text.
Stock decides how the bookmark feels and how long it lasts. 250gsm is a light, flexible card for giveaways in volume; 350gsm silk is a rigid, card-weight board with a velvety-smooth surface that keeps colour deep and detail sharp; 350gsm uncoated has a soft, natural texture that takes a pen, which matters if you want readers to write on it. Matt or gloss lamination adds durability and a wipe-clean finish, and rounded corners stop the tips curling in a bag.
