Wire-bound wall calendars printed in-house on 170 to 250gsm silk: one photograph or design for every month, bound along the top edge with twin-loop wire and a hanging loop, in A4 or A3, portrait or landscape. Supply 13 pages for a standard cover-plus-twelve-months calendar or 14 for a cover, twelve months and a back page, and choose a year-start of your own for academic, financial or wedding-year calendars. Branded corporate calendars for clients, photography calendars for a fundraiser or a family calendar from your own pictures, from a single copy.
- • Available sizes: A4, A3, Custom
- • Paper options: 160gsm Uncoated, 170gsm Silk, 200gsm Silk, 200gsm Uncoated, 250gsm Silk, 250gsm Uncoated
- • Finishing: No Finishing, Digital Proof (Emailed PDF), Custom
- • Minimum order: 1 units
- • Turnaround: Delivered within 3-5 working days of ordering, once your free proof is approved.
Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF with a 3mm bleed and crop marks. Make sure all colours are CMYK and imagery is 300dpi.
- • File Format: One PDF with the pages in reading order — we handle the imposition
- • Colour Mode: CMYK at 300dpi, with fonts embedded or outlined
- • Bleed: 3mm bleed on every page
- • Page Count: Flat leaves printed both sides, so the page count runs in twos. Front and back covers are the first and last pages of the PDF
- • Binding Edge: Keep essential text and logos at least 10mm clear of the binding edge — that strip is punched with round holes for the wire
- • Lie-Flat Spreads: Pages fold a full 360 degrees, so design each page to work on its own rather than across a spread
Delivered within 3-5 working days of ordering, once your free proof is approved. That window is the whole job, not just the van: we print, finish and dispatch your order and the tracked carrier delivers it. The clock starts when you approve your free digital proof, so approving promptly is the fastest thing you can do.
Choose your delivery speed at checkout — every parcel is tracked:
- • Standard delivery — 3-5 working days, free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £25, £2.95 below that
- • Next-day delivery — next working day when you order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, priced at checkout
- • Next-day by 1pm or by 10.30am — next working day, by the time chosen, when you order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, priced at checkout
- • Saturday delivery — Saturday, for orders approved by 2.30pm on Friday, priced at checkout
- • Same-day delivery in London — order up to 500 units with print-ready artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, and a tracked courier delivers the same day. Priced at checkout, including same-day production.
The Highlands & Islands, offshore and international addresses are priced live at checkout, as are unusually heavy orders — over 15kg is £14.95 whatever the order value. Very large pieces (any side over 120cm, such as A0 boards) go by courier rather than post: £7.95 on Standard, with the faster services at the courier's large-parcel rate, shown at checkout. Every order is covered by the Presswift Guarantee: printed to the proof you approve and the specification you choose, or put right. If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved proof, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. We reprint the affected copies to the same specification or, where a reprint is not practical, refund them; approved refunds reach your original payment method within 7-10 working days. Read the Presswift Guarantee.
Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
How many pages does a wall calendar need?
Fourteen pages for a cover, twelve months and a back page, or thirteen if you leave the back plain. Each page is one leaf, printed on the front with your photograph and the month grid; the back of each leaf can carry notes or stay blank.
Can the calendar start in any month?
Yes. Academic calendars start in September, financial calendars in April and wedding-year or anniversary calendars whenever you like. Tell us the start month and year and we set the grids accordingly.
Can you add the date grids for me?
Yes. Send your twelve photographs or designs, tell us the year and start month, and we will lay out the month grids beneath them in a clean typeface. An emailed PDF proof shows you every page before printing.
What is the hanging loop?
A small metal loop fitted into the twin-loop wire at the centre of the top edge, so the calendar hangs flat from a nail or hook. It is fitted as standard on every wall calendar.
How many can I order?
From a single copy for the family up to a few hundred for a corporate mailing. Each calendar prints and binds identically, and the price per copy falls as the run grows.
What sizes do Wall Calendars come in?
Wall Calendars are available in 2 sizes: A4 and A3. You can also enter a custom size in millimetres. If your size or page count is outside what the page can price, request a quote and we will price the exact specification for you.
Which paper stocks can I choose for Wall Calendars?
You can print Wall Calendars on 160gsm Uncoated, 170gsm Silk, 200gsm Silk, 200gsm Uncoated, 250gsm Silk and 250gsm Uncoated. Every stock is listed with its weight so you can balance feel and budget, and the page reprices as you switch.
Can I get Wall Calendars delivered the same day?
Yes. Order Wall Calendars, and approve your artwork, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and a tracked courier delivers them the same day in London. Elsewhere in the UK, standard tracked delivery takes 3-5 working days, with express and next-day options at checkout (next-day: order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri).
How much is delivery for Wall Calendars?
Standard tracked delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £25 (£2.95 below that), and takes 3-5 working days from ordering. The Highlands & Islands, offshore and international addresses are priced live at checkout, as are orders over 15kg (£14.95 whatever the order value). Express and next-day services are available at checkout (next-day: order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri), and a courier can deliver in London on the day you order when you order by 2.30pm Mon–Fri.
Do you provide free artwork templates for Wall Calendars?
Supply your wall calendars artwork as a print-ready PDF with 3mm bleed, CMYK colour and images at 300dpi. Full guidance is in the Artwork Guidelines section on this page, and our free digital proof catches any setup issues before printing.
About Wall Calendars
Wall calendars printed in-house on heavy silk and wire-bound along the top edge with a hanging loop, in A4 or A3, portrait or landscape. One photograph or design for every month: branded corporate calendars for clients, photography calendars for a fundraiser, a school or club calendar, or a family calendar printed from your own pictures. From a single copy.
A standard calendar is a cover plus twelve month pages, or fourteen pages if you add a back page; choose any start month for academic, financial or wedding-year calendars. Pages print on 170 to 250gsm silk so photographs have depth and the month grid stays flat on the wall, or on uncoated stock if you would rather write on it. Twin-loop wire and the hanging loop are fitted on our binding machine.
Supply one PDF with the cover first and the months in order, with 3mm bleed and 10mm clear of the top edge where the wire is punched. If you would like us to add the date grid to your photographs, send the pictures and tell us the year and start month. A real person checks every file before it prints, and an emailed PDF proof is available as an optional extra.
