Send us a photo and we print it in vivid colour on rigid card, then precision contour-cut each mask to the outline of the head with eye holes cut in the same pass. Each template has the bleed, cut line and safe area already marked, so your file is set up correctly first time:
- Download your size and corner style — PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
- Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size — it already includes the 3mm bleed.
- Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
- Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.

Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
What size should a photo face mask be?
A4 is roughly life-size for an adult face and is the usual choice. A5 is smaller and easier to carry between venues or post. Custom sizes are available if you want something in between.
What photograph works best?
A sharp, well-lit, front-facing photograph with the whole head in frame and nothing cropped at the edges. Phone photographs are fine as long as they are in focus — we handle the cut-out path and the eye holes.
Are the eye holes cut for me?
Yes. The eye holes are cut in the same pass as the outline, positioned on the eyes in your photograph, so guests can actually see out rather than peering around the edge.
Do the masks come with sticks?
Masks are supplied flat and ready to hold. Adding your own lolly sticks or elastic is straightforward and lets you decide whether the group holds them or wears them.
Should I laminate them?
Lamination is worth adding for a full night out — matt or gloss both give a wipe-clean surface and stop the card softening where it is held. For a short event the plain card is perfectly durable.

About Photo Face Masks
Photo face masks are the hen and stag party classic: a photograph printed in full colour on rigid card and contour-cut to the outline of the head, with the eye holes cut in the same pass so they line up with the face rather than approximately near it.
We print them at A4, which is roughly life-size for an adult face, and at A5 for a smaller mask that is easier to carry between venues. Custom sizes are available.
