- Download your size and corner style — PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
- Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size — it already includes the 3mm bleed.
- Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
- Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.
Delivered within 3-5 working days of ordering, once your free proof is approved. That window is the whole job, not just the van: we print, finish and dispatch your order and the tracked carrier delivers it. The clock starts when you approve your free digital proof, so approving promptly is the fastest thing you can do.
Choose your delivery speed at checkout — every parcel is tracked:
- • Standard delivery — 3-5 working days, free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £25, £2.95 below that
- • Next-day delivery — next working day when you order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, priced at checkout
- • Next-day by 1pm or by 10.30am — next working day, by the time chosen, when you order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri, priced at checkout

The Highlands & Islands, offshore and international addresses are priced live at checkout, as are unusually heavy orders — over 15kg is £14.95 whatever the order value. Very large pieces (any side over 120cm, such as A0 boards) go by courier rather than post: £7.95 on Standard, with the faster services at the courier's large-parcel rate, shown at checkout. See live delivery prices and times.
Every order is covered by the Presswift Guarantee: printed to the proof you approve and the specification you choose, or put right. If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved proof, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. We reprint the affected copies to the same specification or, where a reprint is not practical, refund them; approved refunds reach your original payment method within 7-10 working days. Read the Presswift Guarantee.
Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
How many pages should an order of service have?
Saddle-stitching works in multiples of four, so four, eight, twelve or sixteen pages. Eight pages suits most wedding ceremonies; twelve gives room to set hymn verses at a comfortable reading size without crowding.
Can you lay out the booklet for me?
Yes. Send us the running order, the readings and any photographs and we will set it. If you already have finished artwork, upload a print-ready PDF with the pages in reading order and we will handle the imposition.
Which paper should I choose?
Silk keeps photographs and colour rich and is the usual choice for a wedding. Uncoated is softer and more traditional and reads more comfortably across a lot of text, which suits a funeral or a service of remembrance.
How quickly can an order of service be produced?
Standard delivery is 3 to 5 working days from ordering once your proof is approved. When a service is at short notice, same-day courier delivery is available across London if you order before the weekday cut-off.
How many copies should I order?
Order one per guest plus around ten per cent spare — people take them home, and a few always go astray. The minimum order is 10 and the price per copy falls as the quantity rises, so spares cost very little.
How much does the Order of Service cost?
The Order of Service starts from £24.64 with no VAT to add (zero-rated) for 10 units. The price updates live on this page as you choose your size, paper stock and quantity, and the price per unit falls at higher quantities.
What sizes does the Order of Service come in?
The Order of Service is available in 2 sizes: A6 and A5. You can also enter a custom size in millimetres and see the price update instantly.
Which paper stocks can I choose for the Order of Service?
You can print the Order of Service on 120gsm Uncoated, 130gsm Silk, 160gsm Uncoated, 170gsm Silk, 200gsm Uncoated, 250gsm Silk and 250gsm Uncoated. Every stock is listed with its weight so you can balance feel and budget, and the page reprices as you switch.
Can I get the Order of Service delivered the same day?
Yes. Order the Order of Service, and approve your artwork, by 2.30pm Mon–Fri and a tracked courier delivers it the same day in London. Elsewhere in the UK, standard tracked delivery takes 3-5 working days, with express and next-day options at checkout (next-day: order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri).
How much is delivery for the Order of Service?
Standard tracked delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £25 (£2.95 below that), and takes 3-5 working days from ordering. The Highlands & Islands, offshore and international addresses are priced live at checkout, as are orders over 15kg (£14.95 whatever the order value). Express and next-day services are available at checkout (next-day: order and approve your artwork by 2.30pm Mon–Fri), and a courier can deliver in London on the day you order when you order by 2.30pm Mon–Fri.
Do you provide free artwork templates for the Order of Service?
Yes. Free artwork templates for every order of service size — PDF and PNG, with the bleed, trim and safe area already marked — are in the Artwork Guidelines section on this page.
About Order of Service
An order of service booklet gives everyone in the room the same thread to follow: the running order, the hymns, the readings and the names of the people taking part. We print and saddle-stitch them in-house in A5 and A6, plus custom sizes, so a short ceremony and a full choral service are equally straightforward.
Because saddle-stitching folds and staples nested sheets, the page count works in multiples of four — four, eight, twelve, sixteen and upwards. That is usually plenty: eight pages carries a wedding ceremony comfortably, and twelve gives room for hymn verses set at a readable size. If your content falls between two counts we can add a blank or a filler page rather than crowding the type.
Choose silk for photographs and colour that stays rich, or uncoated for a softer, more traditional page that is easier on the eye across a lot of text. Stocks run from 120 to 250gsm; the heavier weights give the booklet more presence in the hand. The minimum order is 10 and the price per copy falls as numbers rise, so it is worth printing a few spares.
For a funeral or a service of remembrance, time is often short. Upload finished artwork or send us the content and we will lay it out for you; a real person checks every name and date before it prints, and same-day courier delivery is available across London when you order before the weekday cut-off.
