Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF with a 3mm bleed and crop marks. Make sure all colours are CMYK and imagery is 300dpi.

Free design templates
Each template has the bleed, cut line and safe area already marked, so your file is set up correctly first time:
- Download your size and corner style — PDF for Illustrator, Affinity or InDesign; PNG for Photoshop or Canva.
- Open it in your design app, or place it on a locked layer at 100% size — it already includes the 3mm bleed.
- Design over it: run your background right to the red bleed edge and keep text and logos inside the green safe area.
- Hide or delete the template layer, then export a print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300dpi) and upload it with your order.

If what arrives is damaged, short or does not match the approved proof, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the problem and a count of the affected copies, and keep the copies unused while we look. Because every job is printed to your own artwork and specification, we cannot take a return simply because you have changed your mind, and errors carried through the proof you approved, or colour and trim variation within normal print tolerance, are not print faults. That is what the free digital proof is for — check the colours, wording and layout on the proof and nothing goes to press until you are happy with it.
What exactly holds a bull-dog booklet together?
A single sprung steel bull-dog clip grips the loose sheets along one edge, usually the top. It applies firm, even pressure so the pages stay aligned but can still be released and rearranged by hand at any time.
Can I add or remove pages after delivery?
Yes. Because the sheets are not stitched or glued, you simply open the clip, insert or take out pages, and close it again. This makes bull-dog booklets ideal for documents you expect to update regularly.
How should I supply my artwork?
Please send a print-ready PDF set up in CMYK at 300dpi with 3mm bleed on all edges. Each page should be a separate sheet in your file so we can print and collate them in the correct order before clipping.
Is this binding suitable for a lot of pages?
A bull-dog clip handles a moderate stack of sheets comfortably. For very thick documents a glued or stitched binding usually holds better, so if your page count is high we can advise on a sturdier alternative.
Will the pages lie flat when opened?
The sheets below the clip sit completely flat and separate cleanly, so they are easy to read, photocopy or scan one at a time. Only the clipped edge is held, leaving the rest of each page loose.
